Aerial Lyra

Lyra, also called Hoop, is a steel ring hung vertically by one or two ropes. At Warped Studios we teach Lyra as a single-point apparatus. In this class you will learn body positioning, balance and conditioning that will allow you to properly execute moves. In this class you will learn poses and moves on and above the hoop. As you become more advanced, you will learn to spin the apparatus as you execute skills and poses.

Static Dance Trapeze

Static Dance Trapeze is a bar connected to the ceiling by two ropes. In this class you will learn poses and sequences on and below the bar as well as on the ropes. As you become more advanced, you will learn to flip around the bar and work on momentum-based skills and tricks. Warped Studios does not offer flying trapeze classes.

Performance Choreography

We believe through choreography, you can further your aerial training. By practicing something over and over, setting it to music, working through transitions and having creative play. This is a great way to be a part of the aerial family here at Warped Studios
